New Hope & Burnsville, MN - Opioid addiction treatment centers are a critical tool in our nations opioid crisis. Since 1983, Community Medical Services has assisted those who are suffering from substance use disorders.
Community Medical Services tailors programs to patient needs. Medication, counseling, alternative therapies and a focus on mental and physical health are all important pieces of the CMS recovery programs. CMS provides on-site, local care facilities that deliver the support and solutions patients require.
Albeit a small piece of the solution, Prime General Contractors appreciated being involved with the mission of CMS. Facilities are important. Medical facilities even more so. Prime's historical involvement with tenant build outs in retail spaces, combined with our medical industry expertise, made this a good fit for our team.
Prime General Contractors was engaged to remodel and refinish approximately 3800 square feet at each location. Work included office, reception space and patient care facilities within an existing strip mall retail space. Retail buildouts can be complex, time-consuming, and expensive. However, with proper planning and simplification there are tried and true ways to save time and money.
Underutilized retail strip malls are being refurbished across the country. New uses such as residential components, medical, drive thru food and beverage, office and hotel spaces are all in the mix.
The project herein encompassed an interior ground up medical tenant build out in a traditional retail space. Security was a critical component as this is a methadone treatment center. Security cameras and medication safes were included in the build out. Flooring, base board, drop down grid ceiling, framing, sheetrock, paint, custom millwork and casing were included in the project.
Prime General Contractors leverages extensive experience with strip mall space repurposing. We recognize opportunities and challenges both outside and inside the redevelopment space. Let us assist with your vision as you revitalize an underutilized space.
